Stephen R. Buell was born in Rancho Cordova, California on September 6, 1978. Buell began his comics career in 2004 when he self-published the end-of-days mini-series Video, which received much critical acclaim. Anxious to let his writing chops rest for his next project, Buell illustrated 2006's original graphic novel Fragile Prophet, translating newcomer Jeff Davidson's moving script about a mentally-handicapped child coping with mysterious new powers. The graphic novel was named Best Independent Comic of 2006 by Ain't It Cool News.

Buell enjoys creating show posters for bands, bars and events. If you are interested in a commision for a show poster, logo, sketch, drawing, or whatever else, send Buell an email at stephenrbuell at gmail dot com.
